SOIL SUITABILITY STUDY <br /> Introduction <br /> Live Oak GeoEnvironmental, Inc. (Live Oak) was contracted by Jasdeep Singh and <br /> Harminder Kaur to conduct a Soil Suitability Study and Nitrate Loading Study for the <br /> proposed trucking facility located at 3566 West Eleventh Street, Tracy, California (Plate <br /> 1). <br /> The Soil Suitability Study and Nitrate Loading Study are combined under this report <br /> cover and presented as two sections of this report. The formatting of the report has <br /> been designed to follow the recommendations of the San Joaquin County <br /> Environmental Health Department as described in its Soil Suitability Study <br /> Requirements Checklist and Nitrate Loading Study Requirements Checklist. <br /> The Soil Suitability Study was conducted to determine whether the soils are suitable for <br /> use with a septic system. The study was performed according to the requirements of <br /> Section 9-1105.2(d) of the San Joaquin County Development code. <br /> Proposed Development <br /> According to the San Joaquin County Community Development Department, the <br /> proposed project involves "truck tractor parking for 40 trucks and trailer storage parking <br /> for 143 trailers. A new 3,000 s.f. Shop Building for truck maintenance and minor <br /> repairs. A 400 s.f., office building with A.D.A. accessible restroom." A site plan is <br /> included as Plate 2. <br /> Site Description <br /> The Assessor's Parcel Number (APN) for the Site is 239-060-18. The Site is 41.09 <br /> acres (gross) in size. The County project application number is PA-1700258 (SA). The <br /> Site is located at 3566 West Eleventh Street, Tracy. <br /> The Site currently contains a house, a garage, a shop, and a shade structure. A <br /> domestic water well and a septic system serve the house. The remainder of the parcel <br /> is open agricultural land (Plate 3). <br /> The elevation of the Site, according to a United States Geological Survey topographic <br /> map, is approximately 14 to 20 feet above mean sea level. The Site is relatively flat <br /> (Plate 4). <br /> According to the San Joaquin County Community Development Department <br /> (www.co.san-joaquin.ca.us), the subject property is zoned I-W, Warehouse Industrial. <br /> This zoning designation "is intended to accommodate warehouses and service <br /> LOGE 1843 Page 1 <br />
