The locations of the soil gas probes are shown in Figure 2 <br /> (attached) and the boring logs and well construction details are presented as Attachment A. <br /> The destruction of the soil gas probes is proposed as part of Site closure activities and in accordance <br /> with the California Environmental Protection Agency (CAL EPA) Department of Toxics <br /> Substances Control (DTSC) approval of the post-remediation soil gas results presented in the Final <br /> Removal Action Completion report dated October 12, 2015, which show residual levels of COPCs <br /> in soil gas at the Site are safe and protective of future residential land-use (TPG, 2015). <br /> SCOPE OF WORK <br /> The scope of this proposed field program is presented in detail below. The scope of work includes: <br /> • Field preparation activities; <br /> • Destruction of soil gas probes PRSG-1 through PRSG-8; <br /> • Containerizing and sampling soil and water generated during soil gas probe <br /> destructions; <br /> • Characterization and appropriate disposal of generated soil and liquid wastes;and <br /> • Reporting on the completion of the soil gas probe destruction activities. <br />
