Additionally, I have reviewed the results of
sampling presented in a letter entitled Follow-up Ambient and Indoor Air Sampling at
City of Lodi's City Hall Annex from Henshaw Associates, Inc. dated February 5, 2002
and a letter from Magellan Environmental, Inc. RE: HVAC Modification and
Confirmation Indoor Air Sampling at City of Lodi's City Hall Annex, Dated March 13,
2002, and the results of 13 indoor air and one outdoor air sample collected by the City
at the City Hall Annex between March 20 and 22, 2002.
You specifically requested that ESU, review the results of indoor and ambient air
sampling conducted at the City Hall Annex; review As-Built construction drawings for
the City Hall Annex including the HVAC system; evaluate the engineering controls
prescribed by the City of Lodi to mitigate Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) vapor
intrusion to the City Hall Annex building including compliance with applicable California
codes; make recommendations on the specific HVAC system operating parameters to
monitor for evaluating Title 24 CCR code compliance; and make recommendations for
continued monitoring of VOCs in the City Hall Annex and the frequency of said
monitoring.
The energy challenge facing California is real. Every Californian needs to take immediate action to reduce energy consumption.
For a list of simple ways you can reduce demand and cut your energy costs, see our Web-site at www.dtsc.ca.gov.
® Printed on Recycled Paper
