In the second paragraph of the plan it states, "If the PID <br /> readings exceed 20 response factor units.......for implementation of corrective <br /> measures."; please provide information on anticipated corrective measures that will <br /> be implemented. <br /> 8. Section 5.0, Personal Protective Equipment. Clarify when field personnel will wear a <br /> half-face respirator and when they will have to wear a full-face respirator. <br /> 9. Section 6.0, Exposure Monitoring. Include provisions for community exposure <br /> monitoring. <br /> 10.Section 11.0, Emergency Procedures. Decontamination requirements for personnel <br /> injured or exposed in the work zone should be described. Provide a site map with <br /> evacuation routes, procedures and signals. Describe means of contacting <br /> emergency services (local telephone, cellular phone, radio, etc.), and note the <br /> location of such equipment. Ensure that the medical facility is capable of handling <br /> injured workers who may be chemically contaminated. <br /> Provide a clearer map and narrative describing the route to the nearest emergency <br /> room. Personnel with current CPR/First Aid training need to be identified. <br /> CONCLUSIONS <br /> The submitted documents require additional information and/or clarification of the <br /> issues identified above. Final revisions must be incorporated into the document in a <br /> comprehensive format, which allows site workers to readily access information within <br /> the documents.
