Augusta Street
Woodbridge, CA 95258
Dear Mr. Wallis:
Re: Minor Subdivision Application No. MS-98-23 of Irvin and Lonetta Bender
(780 E. Augusta Street, Woodbridge; APN: 015-130-04)
In your letter of July 17, 1998, you indicated that the water well for the above property also
serves your property. As a result of the map, you indicated that the well will be destroyed, and
you will have to hook up to public water at substantial expense. You asked me for advice and to
notify you if there is to be a public hearing. No public hearing is scheduled. However, staff
action may be appealed to the Planning Commission. The Environmental Health Division has
jurisdiction over water systems. I recommend that you contact Steve Mindt with Public Health
Services at 468-0343. He indicated to me that you may make a written request for a waiver from
the requirement to hook up to public water services. If you have any other question, please call
me at 468-3144.
Sincerely,
CHANDLER MARTIN
Associate Planner
CM/blm
c: Public Works
Steve Mindt, Environmental Health
