SOIL SUITABILITY STUDY s <br /> PROJECT: 1101 W. Harney Ln., Lodi, Ca. <br /> APN: 058-020-16 <br /> MS-98-37 <br /> CLIENT: Vittorio & MJ Federico <br /> SUMMARY <br /> This study presents the results of this soils investigation at the above referenced site. <br /> This study was required by the revised conditions of approval dated November 2, 1998, by <br /> San Joaquin County, Community Development Department.(Chandler Martin). <br /> A single family residence was constructed on the 3 acre parcel approximately 10 years <br /> ago. The owner states the installed septic system has performed satisfactorily. The San Joaquin <br /> County Sewage Standards, dated 11/96 and the San Joaquin Development Title are <br /> applicable to this site. <br /> SITE BACKGROUND INFORMATION <br /> The private residence site consists of approximately 3 acres cut out of a 53.9 acre <br /> parcel. The zoning is AG-40. The Tentative Map was submitted by Rose's Engineering, <br /> of Elk Grove, California. Alfalfa is the main crop at present, the land is flat. <br /> The property is served by Harney Lane. There is a very low density of SFR's in this <br /> area. See Assessor's Map 058-02 included as Appendix E. There are three single family <br /> residences in close proximity at this site. One home was constructed about 1900 and there <br /> is no record of septic problems. Another home required the replacement of the septic <br /> system about three yeasrs asgo. The third home is the subject of this study and is about <br /> ten years old with no septic problems. <br /> GROUNDWATER INFORMATION <br /> Groundwater elevation as determined by the San Joaquin County Flood Control and <br /> Water Conservation District Maps (1992) show an elevation of-30 feet on Lines of <br /> Equal Elevation of Water in Wells and 55 feet on the map Lines of Equal Depth of <br /> Water Wells, Fall 1992. <br /> An irrigation well exists to the east of the new residence. The domestic well is located <br /> north of the new residence. The irrigation well was not sampled. The water sample <br /> !. <br />
