Curtis <br /> Civil Engineer <br /> C.E. # 11584 <br /> 418 Matthew Plaza <br /> Lodi , California 95240 <br /> Phone: (209) 368-4159 <br /> San Joaquin County Public Health Service <br /> Environmental Health Division <br /> Subject : Surface And Subsurface Contamination Report for the Robert <br /> E. Rose and Bear Creek Vineyards , Inc. property, MS-98-37 , to <br /> divide the existing parcels into five ( 5) parcels . Parcel Nos . i <br /> and 3 , 80 acres and 40 acres , respectively, abut the westerly <br /> boundary of Clements Road. Parcel No . 2 , 40 acres , also is to the <br /> west of Clements Road and situate in the western interior of the <br /> subject property immediately to the west and abutting Parcel No . 3 <br /> in the southwest corner of the subject property. Parcel Nos . 4 and <br /> 5 , 40 acres and 120 acres , respectively, abut the easterly boundary <br /> of Clements Road and all five parcels are depicted on the attached <br /> "Tentative Parcel Map" . <br /> Submitted for your review and consideration are the results of <br /> a search of the subject property, property owner interview and <br /> record searching to determine if there is any contamination from <br /> potential point and non-point sources , such as fuel storage tanks , <br /> septic systems or chemical storage areas . This submittal is made to <br /> meet The San Joaquin County Development Title Requirement outlined <br /> in Public Health Services , San Joaquin County Environmental Health <br /> Division' s letter to the San Joaquin County Community Development <br /> Department , dated November 10 , 1998 . <br /> Property Search: On December 2 , 1998 , a property search was made to <br /> determine if there were above ground fuel storage tanks , oil drums , <br /> kerosine , other petroleum products or other possible contaminate <br /> receptacles situate on any of the subject property ' s five (5) <br /> parcels totaling 320 acres . On the date of this search no above <br /> ground tanks , drums , receptacles storage areas were found to exist <br /> on the subject property. <br /> Neither did the property search uncover any chemical or other <br /> contaminate storage areas . <br /> Also no evidence was found of any petroleum product or other <br /> contaminate spillage or chemical residues on the ground. <br /> The property search did not reveal any vent pipes , excavated <br /> areas or other evidences of any subsurface or underground <br /> contaminate sources . <br /> Permit Record Search: Existing San Joaquin County Environmental <br /> R.E. Rose/Bear Creek Vineyards Inc . , 16750 & 16751 Clements Rd. 2 <br />
