Box 127 <br /> Linden, CA 95236 <br /> RE: EP-81-9 <br /> An excavation permit was approved for the above premises. The following con- <br /> ditions imposed by the Local Health District were made a part of the approval : <br /> 1. No excavation may be permitted into the ground water table <br /> without approval from the Regional Water Quality Control <br /> Board, Central Valley Region. <br /> 2. The materials from an excavation shall not be deposited into <br /> any water course nor in any way contribute to the pollution <br /> thereof. <br /> 3. Provide an approved potable water supply for all employees. <br /> 4. Approved chemical toilets shall be provided for all employees. <br /> Toilets must be maintained in a clean and sanitary manner. <br /> 5. Handwashing facilities must be provided on or near the approved <br /> chemical toilets. <br /> 6. Backfill below new well pedestal . <br /> 7. Destroy improperly abandoned well on the west side of the <br /> property, under permit of the San Joaquin Local Health District. <br /> 8. Proposed gold mining operation must meet the requirements o the <br /> Regional Water Quality Control Board and State Department of <br /> Health Services, Toxic Substances Control Division. <br /> Since approval of the excavation permit included San Joaquin Local Health District <br /> conditions, you are hereby advised that the above conditions shall be met prior to <br /> utilization of the approved land use. <br /> If the decision is appealed to the Board of Supervisors, the filing of the appeal <br /> stays the issuance of the excavation permit or any other permits until the appeal <br /> has been decided by the Board. <br /> Call this office for an inspection when the conditions have been met. <br /> Jogi Khanna, M.D. ,M.P.H. <br /> District Health Officer <br /> '/', MQ� <br /> C.
