BA 9-10-81
Stockton Sand & Gravel
matter is set for revocation hearing, Swocktoit Sand and Gravel can give their
arguments; the sitkins can give their side; the Board can revoke the permit or
place additional conditions on the permit; any action can be appealed to the
Board of Supervisors if so desired by either party.
There was some discussion regarding placing the matter on the agenda of
September 16, 1981 when the Purviance property is being considered. It was
felt that there would not be enough time to give legal notification and
provide the necessary report. However, it was noted that testimony can
be taken on the 16th and the mattrr taken under submission until the revoca-
tion hearing takes place.
Don Merian was present representing the Stockton Sand and Gravel Company,
and he said that they were in the process of cleaning up the property; two
months ago the Building Department red tagged them and this stopp0 them.
Mr. hunter said it is possible to make the staff report available to the
property representatives before the Board of Zoning Adjustment reviews the
report so this will give the opportunity to correct the problems. Staff would
make an on-site investigation, but the report will be mostly on the communi-
cations in the file.
Staff was directed by the Chair to prepare a report as stated in the minutes
and to give reasons why or why not there should be a revoegtrgeu. hearing.
There will be the hearing on the Purviance permit on September 16, to take
testimony only. The report is to be provided to the Board for the meeting
of September 24, 1981. This matter is to be discussed on September 24, 1981
under Director's Report. A copy of the report is to be sent to Stockton
Sand and Gravel and Mr. and Mrs. Roger Sitkin.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The meeting was adjourned at 11:30 p.m.
GARRETT BECKER, Chairman ROBERT S.
