HENRY ROAD, OAKDALE CALIFORNIA <br /> OUR JOB NUMBER: LG02-153 <br /> I. INTRODUCTION <br /> Our office was contracted by Mr. Richard Green to conduct a Soil Suitability Study for a <br /> 53.29 acre parcel located at 16254 S. Henry Road in Oakdale, California(Plate 1). This study <br /> was required by the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Division for the proposed lot line <br /> adjustment. The assessors parcel number for the subject parcel is(APN) 229-150-08. The San <br /> Joaquin County approval number for the project is MS-98-31. <br /> The Soil Suitability Study was conducted to determine whether the proposed parcels are <br /> suitable for the use of a septic system. The study was performed according to the requirements <br /> of Section 9-1105.2(d)of the San Joaquin County Development. Major elements of the field <br /> work included an exploratory soil boring and percolation test for each parcel. The percolation <br /> tests were required by San Joaquin County Public Health Services in a letter dated September 14, <br /> 1998 to San Joaquin County Community Development Department(see Requirement A). An <br /> examination of the published soil information, geologic maps, and available ground water <br /> information, exploratory borings,percolation rates, and-permit review was performed to <br /> complete the investigatio A ound water nitrate and DBCP test was not required <br /> I1. PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT <br /> The project site is located along on the east side of Henry Road, 2,630 feet sou ne <br /> Tree Road near Valley Home, California(Plate 1). The project involves dividing 3.29 acre <br /> parcel into five parts. Parcels 1, 2, 3, and 4 are to contain 10 acres and a remainder is to contain <br /> 13.3 acres. Each parcel will contain an individual residential unit with a septic system and water <br /> well. <br />
