Advancement of direct push geoprobe soil borings for the purpose of collecting soil and grab groundwater samples <br /> for analysis. The borings will be advanced to 20-25 feet bsg. <br /> 2. Two soil samples and one grab groundwater sample will be collected per boring. <br /> 3. All samples will be analyzed for TPHg,TPHd,BTEY MtBE and fuel oxygenates by the appropriate EPA <br /> approved laboratory methods. <br /> 4. Groundwater monitoring wells will be installed if analytical results from the groundwater sample indicate that they <br /> are necessary. <br /> COMMENTS AND CONDITIONS• i <br /> 1. EPA Method 8260 must also analyze all samples for 12-dichloroethane and ethylene dibromide. <br /> 2. The borings must be positioned to surround the former tank pit area. Either move a boring to the south of the C3.w <br /> former tank pit area,or add another boring. C <br /> 3. The work plan must be implemented within 60 days from the date of this approval letter,and,if needed,groundwater 'CM02 <br /> monitoring wells must be installed within one month following receipt of the laboratory data. 4 <br /> 4.
