CHRONOLOGY <br /> Speedy Foods <br /> 8200 North Highway 99 <br /> Stockton, CA 95212 <br /> 11/21/95 Piping repair work completed at site; soil contamination noted at time of work. <br /> 01/10/96 Unauthorized Release Report #96-008 and Notification of Hazardous Waste <br /> Discharge #96-006 filed this date. <br /> 03/25/97 Notice of Responsibility sent to responsible party Tuleburg Warehouse. <br /> 09/04/97 Site accepted to State Water Resources Control Board (SWRCB) Cleanup Fund <br /> (CUF) Claim #12586, priority class C. <br /> 11/13/97 Letter of Commitment (LOC) issued to the site by the SWRCB CUF. <br /> 01/28/98 Three 8,000-gallon underground storage tanks removed this date under San <br /> Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) permit and inspection. <br /> Soil samples for laboratory analysis were collected from beneath the tanks, the <br /> dispenser and the soil stockpiles. The tank excavation was lined with visqueen <br /> plastic and the stockpiles were returned to the pit. Analytical results reported <br /> petroleum hydrocarbon contamination in the soil samples. See Ground Zero <br /> Analysis' (GZA) Speedy Foods Groundwater and Soil Investigation Report dated <br /> February 24, 1999, available on Questy's. <br /> 03/18/98 Unauthorized Release Report#98-U10 was submitted this date. <br /> 09/23/98 Approximately 166 cubic yards of soil were removed from the lined tank pit and <br /> hauled to Forward Landfill in Manteca. See GZA's February 24, 1999 report. <br /> 11/09/98 Two cone penetrometor test borings, CPT-1 and CPT-2, and three soil borings, <br /> SB-1 through SB-3 were advanced on site. See GZA's 2/24/99 report noted above. <br /> 10/04/99 Two soil borings, SB-4 and SB-5, and four groundwater monitoring wells, MW-1 <br /> through MW-4 installed on site. See GZA's Groundwater Monitoring Well Installation <br /> Report dated April 28, 2000, available on Questy's. <br /> 10/16/00 Five groundwater monitoring wells, MW-5 through MW-8 and MW-9B, were installed <br /> on site. See GZA's Additional Subsurface Investigation Report dated <br /> February 28, 2001, available on Questy's. <br /> 08/06/01 Bailing of free product began this date and continued until the groundwater <br /> extraction system was started. See GZA's Third Quarter Groundwater Monitoring <br /> and Sampling Report dated October 12, 2001, available on Questy's. <br /> 02/28/02 A new water supply well for the facility was placed on line. The original onsite well <br /> was impacted with petroleum hydrocarbon contamination and was destroyed. <br /> 10/06/03 Five groundwater monitoring wells, MW-10 through MW-12, MW-13C and MW-14B, <br /> and one remediation well, VW-1, were installed onsite.
