5.0 INTERVIEWS 5.1 Interview with Client Mr. Foroutan was interviewed by telephone on May 3, 2018. At this time, he indicated that he has owned the Site since June of 2017. Mr. Foroutan stated that all three homes and the shed on the Site were built in the year 2004 or later. The homes receive municipal water. He indicated that the house on Stockton Street shares a septic system with the smaller house; the house on Alice Avenue has its own septic system. Mr. Foroutan added that the small house is vacant, and he only uses it occasionally when visiting the area. He stated that he was not aware of any fuel tanks, chemical storage, automotive maintenance, dumping of hazardous materials, or other environmental issues with the potential to impact the Site. 6.0 SITE DOCUMENTS 6.1 _Environmental Health Department Records Hazardous Materials Records The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department was contacted regarding the Site addresses of 8505 West Stockton Street and 8500 West Alice Avenue, Thornton. According to Dom Martorella, no records related to hazardous materials are on file (personal communication, May 19, 2018). Well & Septic Permits Live Oak reviewed the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department well and septic permit files for the Site addresses. Three permits were identified.. • May 2004 permit for new septic system at residence (8505 W. Stockton). The system utilized a 1,600-gallon septic tank and four 100-foot leach lines. • March 2007 permit for replacement filter bed at residential septic system (8505 W. Stockton St). The permit notes that "existing leach field is being abandoned and relocated to allow for 2nd unit dwelling." The new system utilized a 30 by 50-foot filter bed. • March 2007 permit for new septic system at residence. The system utilized a 24 by 50-foot filter bed (8500 Alice). LOGE 1822 4
