SOIL SUITABILITY STUDY <br /> Introduction <br /> Live Oak GeoEnvironmental, Inc (Live Oak) was contracted by Robert Tacsion to <br /> conduct a Soil Suitability Study and Nitrate Loading Study for the construction of a new <br /> building at the Bridge Worship Center, located at 11757 North Davis Road, Lodi, <br /> California (Plate 1). <br /> The Soil Suitability Study and Nitrate Loading Study are combined under this report <br /> cover and presented as two sections of this report. The formatting of the report has <br /> been designed to follow the recommendations of the San Joaquin County <br /> Environmental Health Department as described in its Soil Suitability Study <br /> Requirements Checklist and Nitrate Loading Study Requirements Checklist. <br /> The Soil Suitability Study was conducted to determine whether the soils are suitable for <br /> use with a septic system. The study was performed according to the requirements of <br /> Section 9-1105.2(d) of the San Joaquin County Development code. <br /> Proposed Development <br /> Mr. Tacsion proposes to expan existing religious facility by constructing a new 50 <br /> by 90-foot structure (Plate 2); the San Joaquin County project description is as follows- <br /> A Use Permit application to expand an existing neighborhood religious <br /> facility on a fourteen (14) acre parcel currently developed with an existing <br /> 1,320 square foot neighborhood religious facility, a 458 square foot dining <br /> area, a 380 square foot lobby, a single family residence, a guest house, <br /> and a barn. The proposed expansion includes the construction of a 4,50CA-- <br /> square foot religious assembly building and an 810 square foot building to <br /> include three (3) offices, one (1) copy room, and two (2) restrooms. <br /> Operations are currently approved for one day a week (Sunday), and 3.5 <br /> hours per day, with a maximum capacity of 60 people. The proposed <br /> expansion does not request a change of hours of operation but ice_ ' , <br /> proposing an increase to a maximum capacity of 150 people, with a <br /> maximum of forty (40) vehicles at a time. The project is provided access <br /> from Davis Road, and will be served by a private well and septic system. <br /> Mr. Tacsion has indicated that he plans to modify the application to allow up to 200 <br /> people to attend Sunday services (personal communication, May 1, 2019). The existing <br /> church septic system will be expanded to accommodate the increased number of <br /> parishioners. <br /> LOGE 1917 Page 1 <br />
