KLE/NFELOER <br /> Bright People Right$l-- <br /> 2 FIELD INVESTIGATION AND LABORATORY TESTING <br /> 2.1 FIELD INVESTIGATION <br /> 2.1.1 Previous Exploratory Borings Performed by Others <br /> One soil boring was performed by Construction Testing and Engineers, Inc (CTE) at the adjacent <br /> Van Allen Elementary School in 2014. A copy of the boring log was provided to us by TPH <br /> Architects and is presented in Appendix A. <br /> 2.1.2 Previous Percolation Testing Performed by Others <br /> Percolation testing was completed by CTE at the adjacent Van Allen Elementary School in 2014. <br /> The results of the test were presented in a report titled, "Percolation Testing and Soil Suitability <br /> Study, Van Allen Elementary School, 21051 East State Route 120, Escalon, California," CTE Job <br /> No. 20-2469G, Dated February 24, 2014. A copy of the percolation test results was provided to <br /> us by TPH Architects and is presented in Appendix D. <br /> 2.1.3 Water Sampling <br /> On April 16, 2019, a sample of groundwater was obtained using clean procedures from hos_ <br /> adjacent to the nearest production well to the proposed septic system. A State of California Well <br /> Completion Report (No. 560793) indicated the well was completed in 1995 to a depth of about <br /> 265 feet. <br /> 2.2 LABORATORY TESTING <br /> Laboratory tests on water samples recovered from the on-site well were performed by Fruit <br /> Growers Laboratory (FGL). The following laboratory tests were assigned. <br /> Nitrate (N) <br /> The water sample obtained from the well was delivered to a laboratory on ice the same day using <br /> chain-of-custody procedures.
