Once classified, the waste material should be <br />properly bagged, segregated and stored; <br />Properly bagging the material: <br />• Place the material upright in the bag; <br />• If leaking, add absorbent; <br />• Fold and seal bag; <br />• Verify the bag is closed and not leaking; <br />• Storage note - Do not store more than one type <br />of material in the same bag. <br />Properly storing the material: <br />• The material should be placed in the correct <br />tote (i.e. Acid, Alkaline, Flammable, Oxidizer or <br />Poison); <br />• Place the sealed bag upright in the designated <br />tote; <br />Accumulation Dates must be added to the label on <br />the tote when the first waste product is added to it. <br />
