The S6 (91 vent vacuum) sensor failed when tested. The interstitial space of the UST system shall <br /> be maintained, as designed, under constant vacuum such that a breach in the primary or secondary <br /> containment is detected before the hazardous substance is released into the environment. The <br /> technician replaced the S6 sensor like-for-like at the time of inspection, a sensor functionality was <br /> verified. A retrofit verification with the inspector already onsite was filled out and a copy was provided to <br /> the site manager at the time of inspection. CORRECTED. <br /> 406. A significant kink (bend) was observed in the brine hose of the diesel STP sump sensor. The <br /> interstitial space of the underground storage tank shall be maintained under constant vacuum or <br /> pressure or hydrostatically (utilizing the interstitial liquid level measurement methods) such that a <br /> breach in the primary or secondary containment is detected before the liquid or vapor phase of the <br /> hazardous substance stored in the underground storage tank is released into the environment. <br /> Immediately contact a properly licensed, trained, and certified contractor to verify communication <br /> between the brine sensor and the interstitial liquid; obtain a permit from the EHD if repair or replacement <br /> of any monitoring system components is required. Submit supporting documentation by September 21, <br /> 2013. <br /> Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification form with a statement of how <br /> each violation was corrected (violations 404 and 406), including supporting documentation, by <br /> September 21, 2013. <br /> ALL EHD STAFF TIME ASSOCIATED WITH FAILING TO COMPLY BY THE ABOVE NOTED DATES WILL BE BILLED AT THE CURRENT HOURLY RATE. <br /> THIS FACILITY IS SUBJECT TO REINSPECTION AT ANY IME AT EHD'S CURRENT HOURLY RATE. <br /> EHD Inspector: Rec� Title: <br /> Elena Manzo (209) 953-7699 <br /> EHD 23-02-003 Rev 04/19/12 CONTINUATION FORM <br />
