Board of Housing Appea— Meeting <br /> Staff Report — 2156 South B Street, Stockton <br /> 10/22/13 The notice of the November 20, 2013 Board of Housing Appeals meeting was <br /> posted on the property. <br /> 10/23/13 The notice of the November 20, 2013 Board of Housing Appeals meeting was <br /> sent by certified mail to the property owner and the beneficiaries. <br /> 11/05/13 The EHD staff received a call from Mr. Ahmed Shaker, who indicated that he <br /> was interested in purchasing the property, along with his business partner, Dr. <br /> Singh. Mr. Shaker was informed of the violations, the upcoming BOHA meeting, <br /> and pending demolition of subject property. <br /> 11/07/13 The EHD staff received a call from Mr. Shaker, who indicated that he was able <br /> to inform Fire Chief Martel about his intentions to purchase and repair the <br /> structure. <br /> 11/13/13 Site visit conducted found SFD remained secured by boards; fire debris from <br /> shed that was completely damaged by fire also remained. <br /> 11/15/13 The EHD staff received a call from the property owner to inform that she was <br /> selling the property to Mr. Shaker. <br /> 11/19/13 The EHD staff received a call from Ms. Michelle Haner, with Briggs & Associate, <br /> requesting a copy of the posting notice. Ms. Haner indicated that she had two <br /> interested buyers. <br /> 12/12/13 The EHD received a call from Montezuma Fire regarding the property becoming <br /> a nuisance and fire hazard to neighboring properties. According to Capt. <br /> Cardoza, there were people on the property and structures might have be <br /> unsecured. <br /> 12/13/13 The EHD staff conducted a site visit and found two men loading the fire debris <br /> on the bed of their truck. Mr. Wendell Smith indicated that the property owner <br /> hired him to remove the debris and demolish the chicken coops at adjoining <br /> property. Mr. Smith also indicated that he would secure the property with <br /> boards since the property owner was concerned that putting a chain-link fence <br /> would likely get stolen again. <br /> 12/16/13 The EHD staff conducted a recheck and found boards being used to secure the <br /> front portion of parcel. Debris was also completely removed. <br /> 12/26/13 The notice of the January 15, 2014 Board of Housing Appeals meeting was <br /> posted on the property. <br /> 12/30/13 The notice of the January 15, 2014 Board of Housing Appeals meeting was <br /> sent by certified mail to the property owner and the beneficiaries. <br /> 01/07/14 The EHD staff conducted a site visit and found the dwelling remained secured <br /> by boards.
