Board of Housing Appeals Me..ong <br /> Staff Report — 2156 South B Street, Stockton <br /> 10/23/13 The notice of the November 20, 2013 Board of Housing Appeals meeting was <br /> sent by certified mail to the property owner and the beneficiaries. <br /> 11/05/13 The EHD staff received a call from Mr. Ahmed Shaker, who indicated that he <br /> was interested in purchasing the property, along with his business partner, Dr. <br /> Singh. Mr. Shaker was informed of the violations, the upcoming BOHA meeting, <br /> and pending demolition of subject property. <br /> 11/07/13 The EHD staff received a call from Mr. Shaker, who indicated that he was able <br /> to inform Fire Chief Martel about his intentions to purchase and repair the <br /> structure. <br /> 11/13/13 Site visit conducted found SFD remained secured by boards; fire debris from <br /> shed that was completely damaged by fire also remained. <br /> VI. Environmental Health Department Recommendations <br /> The Environmental Health Department recommends the Board confirm the findings of the <br /> violations for the posted structure and that the owner be given: <br /> a. Ten (10) days to obtain and final a septic destruction permit from the San Joaquin <br /> County Environmental Health Department. <br /> b. Ten (10) days to obtain all required housing repair or demolition permits from the <br /> San Joaquin County Community Development Department. <br /> C. Thirty (30) days to correct all State Housing Law violations and to final all <br /> required permits from the San Joaquin County Community Development <br /> Department. <br /> If the above time constraint is not met, the Environmental Health Department may <br /> proceed with abatement action without further report to the board as follows: <br /> Institute an appropriate action or proceeding consistent with the case conditions that may <br /> include the vacation, repair, or demolition of all posted structure(s) and appurtenances <br /> thereto, the removal of refuse, debris, solid waste, scrap metal, and hazardous wastes <br /> from the premises, and/or the referral of the case to the San Joaquin County District <br /> Attorney's Office for further enforcement action. <br /> Page 4 of 4 <br />
