t Valley Motors Page 2
800 East Main Street March 9, 2009
Stockton, CA 95202
The EHD is concerned that by not collecting and analyzing ground water samples, potentially
significant changes in the contaminated plume's concentrations or movement will go unnoticed.
In order to adequately manage and monitor,;the dissolved petroleum plume, the EHD directs you
to sample monitoring wells VM-2, VM-4, and VM-6 on a semi-annual schedule (March and
September, starting September 2009) for TPHg and BTEX. The remainder of the wells on site
may be sampled annually, every March. These reports are to be complete and follow the Tri-
Regional Guidelines' Appendix - A format for minimum inclusions. These reports are to include
professional conclusions and recommendations and a time schedule for future activities. All
reports (semi-annual, quarterly, or annual) are due on Geotracker by the 151h of the month
following the quarter's end.
Please contact Michael I ma t (209)468-3454 if you have any questions.
?nderson/./ G-
Michael J.
