Items included in the garage are two compressed gas tanks, multiple 5-gallon containers
of antifreeze, 1-gallon oil containers, four 55-gallon drums of waste oil, four 55-gallon drums of
lubricant, and other miscellaneous automotive products. There are small amounts of oil staining
in this area. There is a drain present near the east side of the office building.
South of the office building is a 2,000-gallon fuel tank with approximately 2-foot high concrete
containment walls. There was no visible leakage or spillage in this area. North of the fuel tank
was another fuel tank, approximately 500-gallons, also with a 2-foot high concrete containment
area. The AST was situated on a concrete pad and there was no staining in this area. Also
present in this area are three portable fuel tanks. There was no staining in this area. There are
two wells in this area, as well as, three water tanks; two has an approximate size of 3,000 gallons
and one have an approximate size of 1,000 gallons. There is a 55-gallon lubricant drum and 55-
gallon drum of formaldehyde present in this area, with no visible signs of soil staining. A wood
shed is located south of this site. The shed contains a 55-gallon container of a herbicide,
"Round-up", and multiple 40-pound bags of Copper-Sulfate. There is also heavy equipment
present in this area with small amounts of oil staining underneath the equipment.
To the west and east of this area are large corral areas with pole barns covering the area.
The southwest corner of this area is a waste water pond, a dry pond, multiple hay barns, and a
silage pile. There is an unlabeled pole-mounted transformer present to the west of the hay barns.
There is no visible leakage or soil staining in this area. Also present in this area is a burn area, a
debris pile, and multiple 5-gallon containers of Zinc herbicide. Within the burn pile there was no
evidence of the debris burned at this site. The debris pile consisted of scrap metal and concrete
debris. There was no visible staining in this area. North of the waste water pond are two
unlabeled pole-mounted transformers. There are no visible signs of leakage or staining in this
area. South of the waste water pond are multiple abandoned automobiles, scrap metal, two
empty 55-gallon drums, PVC piping, an empty AST, and tires. There was no evidence of soil
staining in this area. The waste water pond itself had a thick layer, approximately 1 foot deep of
sludge floating on top of the surface of the water.
To the east of the waste water pond are three hay barns and beyond is a open corral area. To the
east of the corral area was another waste water pond. This pond is used to hold the water from
the first pond. A 10-foot high levee contained the pond. An unlabeled pole-mounted
transformer is present in the northeast corner of this site. There are no visible signs of leakage or
soil staining.
6.3 AGRICULTURAL OPERATION
The "agricultural operation" encompasses the remaining three-fourths of the site.
