1
r
Ask
subject property is currently in fifth leaf almonds. Previous use of the property was for
agricultural production.
STANDARD PUBLIC ENVIRONMENTAL RECORD SOURCES
County and State environmental records were reviewed for sites which may have impacted the
subject property. The databases accessed indicate no environmental concerns associated with the
property. Division of Oil and Gas Maps reveal that there have been no gas or oil drilling
explorations conducted on or around the subject property.
Prior to the purchase of the property by Mr. Brocchini in 1988,the property was owned by the
Mohler Family, who had owned the property for several decades. Due to this length of
ownership, prior owners of the subject property were not investigated. It can be reasonably
concluded that prior ownership has probably not caused environmental concerns to the subject
property.
Past surrounding land use has been agricultural production. Records at the San Joaquin County
Agricultural Commissioner's office indicate row crop, orchards and pasture are the predominate
crops grown in this area.
There are three primary sources of information which document and define past land use,
although they are occasionally difficult to interpret. The first is the use of aerial photographs.
Aerial photographs of the subject area in the 1950's and 1960's located at the University of
California at Davis indicate only ag production changes to the subject property, as best as could
be determined. The second type of information are United States Department of Agriculture
aerial photos (See Appendix). The 1971 map illustrates the referenced buildings in the NWC of
the property. The United States Geological Survey map illustrates the contour of the property as
being approximately 50 feet above MSL.
INFORMATION FROM SITE RECONNAISSANCE AND INTERVIEWS
The following information was obtained visually and/or through an interview with Ms. Michele
Brocchini: The subject property contains no underground storage tanks. There is an above
ground diesel fuel storage tank near the NWC of the subject property. It appears this tank is on
the adjoining property. There was an on-site, conventional septic system with a tank and
leachfield area that served the former residence. There is a stationery tank of previous unknown
contents behind the barn. No other on-site containers were noted.
The subject property was surveyed for evidence which is indicative of surface and/or subsurface
2
q) Q-allty Ontrol Inspection
