M ' '
SOIL SUITABILITY STUDY
PROJECT: 21101 N. Clements Rd; APN 019-260-21
MS: 99-22
OWNER: Ronald Stolich
SUMMARY
This study presents the results of a soils investigation at the above referenced site, as required by
the San Joaquin Development Title and San Joaquin County Sewage Standards.
A single family residence has been constructed on one of the proposed 10 acre parcels. The
residence is occupied.
SITE BACKGROUND INFORMATION
The private residence site is 10 acres, with a remainder of 10 acres. It is proposed to designate
the "remainder" of 10 acres on the Final Map as such. If this is done, the remainder will not be
part of this study. If there is a Parcel 1 designation then a percolation test will be completed and
added as an addendum to this report. The property is served from Clements Road. An
application for liquid waste permit was dated Aug. 17, 1995 and indicates a 1600 gal. tank with
3-40'x25' in the leach field.
GROUNDWATER INFORMATION
Groundwater elevation is referenced as 175'on the map Lines of Equal Depth of Water Wells,
Fall 1992. The water was sampled and tested by FGL Labs. The satisfactory analysis is
included in this report.
SOIL PROFILE AND PERCOLATION TESTING
The General Soil Map of San Joaquin County indicates the area south of Clements to be gravelly
medium textured soils to cemented hardpan. The percolation test report is included in this report
and indicates the soil is conducive to percolation of clear effluent from the single family
residence.
SEPTIC TANK AND LEACH FIELD
A gravity sewer system has been in operation for approximately four years. There is no record
of repairs needed or made to the system. If a garbage displosal is used, it is recommended the
tank be pumped out at the end of six years. The amout of capacity left in the tank will bean
3.
