1 ,
REQUIRED FINDINGS
MINOR SUBDIVISION
(Development Title Section 9-860.4)
1. The proposed subdivision is consistent with the General Plan, any applicable Master Plan, Specific
Plan, and Special Purpose Plan, and any other applicable plan adopted by the County.
• This finding can be made because the proposed subdivision is consistent with the
Residential Development Objectives and Principles of the General Plan. Such
subdivisions may be conditionally permitted by the County's Development Title.
2. The design or improvement of the proposed subdivision is consistent with the General Plan and any
applicable Specific Plan or Special Purpose Plan.
• This finding can be made because the number and size of the lots proposed are allowed
under the General Plan and Rural Residential zoning designation.
3. The site is physically suitable for the type of development proposed.
• This finding can be made because the site is relatively level and of adequate size to
accommodate single-family residential development with private septic tank and drainage
systems.
4. The site is physically suitable for the proposed density of development.
• This finding can be made because each parcel within the subdivision will meet the area
and width requirements of the R-R zone.
5. Neither the design of the subdivision nor any proposed improvements are likely to cause substantial
environmental damage or substantially and avoidably injure fish or wildlife or their habitat.
• This finding can be made because an Initial Study prepared for this project found no
significant adverse impacts on the environment or upon threatened or endangered
species.
6. The design of the subdivision or type of improvement is not likely to cause significant public health
problems.
• This finding can be made because the Initial Study prepared for this application did not
identify any potentially significant health and safety impacts.
7. The design of the subdivision or the types of improvements will not conflict with easements acquired
by the public at large for access through or use of property within the proposed subdivision.
• This finding cannot be made because a secondary method of access to the proposed
parcels, required by Development Title Section 9-1150.15(b), cannot be provided to serve
the parcels.
Findings - 1 - MS-99-24
