April 3, 2019
David Rajkovich
REQUEST FOR SANITARY SEWER SERVICE FOR 3263 EAST CHEROKEE ROAD
(APN 132-070-10)
Local Agency Formation Commission of San Joaquin County
All applications outside the City of Stockton's jurisdiction boundaries are subject to Local
Agency Formation Commission of San Joaquin County (LAFCO) review, fees, and
approval. LAFCO approval is required prior to the City's approval.
Other Comments
All connections to City-maintained utilities and work within City streets require an
encroachment permit from the City's Public Works Department. Since the project is
located in the San Joaquin County area, County permits for work done in the County
street right-of-way will be required.
Existing septic systems shall be abandoned in compliance with the San Joaquin County
Health Department requirements prior to the installation of a water meter and/or
connection to the City Sanitary Sewer System.
The City can provide sanitary sewer service to the subject property in accordance with
the terms outlined in the Out of Agency Agreement between the City and Blossom
Industrial Park. In addition, upon payment of all appropriate fees, charges, plan approvals
and construction of all required utilities including master plan improvements, the City of
Stockton can provide sanitary sewer service to the subject property. All necessary
permits must be obtained before connection to City utilities is allowed. This letter only
represents the condition of the City's utility system at this time. This letter does not
constitute a reservation of capacity, nor does it vest this property with any entitlements.
This letter will expire 24 months from April 3, 2019.
If you have any questions regarding the contents of this letter, please contact John Wotila
of the Municipal Utilities Department at (209) 937-8436.
ST HEN KENNIN
ASSISTANT DIR OR OF MUNICIPAL UTILITIES
SK:JW:sgr
Attachments: Request for Sanitary Sewer Service dated February 28, 2019
Will Serve March 24, 2017
emc: David Kwong, Community Development Director
Michael Hakeem, Hakeem, Ellis & Marengo
John Wotila, Associate Engineer, Municipal Utilities Department
