(Aegis), on behalf of Shell Oil Company (Shell), is submitting <br /> this letter to request assistance from the San Joaquin County Public Health Services, <br /> Environmental Health Division (SJCEHD) in our pursuit to obtain right-of-entry (ROE) to <br /> perform a subsurface investigation at the subject site (see Figure attached). A workplan, <br /> dated February 26, 1993, and titled "Workplan for Limited Additional Subsurface <br /> Investigation," was submitted to the SJCEHD in February 1993. Performance of the <br /> investigation, as stated in the workplan, was contingent upon securing ROE. To date, <br /> Shell has received ROE only to the Porter Station property in the upgradient direction. <br /> Letters requesting ROE were sent out in February 1993.
