(Aegis) is pleased to respond to the November 30, 1992, <br /> deadline for a workplan to conduct additional subsurface investigation at the subject site, <br /> as requested by the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Division (SJCEHD). <br /> In a letter, dated October 26, 1992, from Aegis to SJCEHD, it was stated "Aegis intends <br /> to research SJCEHD files for information regarding the subject and adjacent sites." <br /> Aegis has not yet performed the file review due to the lengthy waiting period, but will do <br /> so when Nora Reid of your office informs us the files are ready. <br /> In view of the past and most-recent results of quarterly monitoring, Aegis plans to perform <br /> an additional subsurface investigation in the vicinity of the site. The proposed <br /> investigation will include drilling and installing additional groundwater monitoring well(s), <br /> provided the necessary encroachment permits and/or right-of-entry agreements can be <br /> secured.
