NRV CESS <br /> PERM�-�JSE <br /> January 28, 2004 <br /> Ms Lori Duncan <br /> San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department <br /> 304 E Weber Avenue, Third Floor <br /> Stockton, California 95202 <br /> Re Groundwater Monitoring Report - Fourth Quarter 2003 <br /> Shell-branded Service Station <br /> 6131 Pacific Avenue <br /> Stockton, California <br /> SAP Code 136149 <br /> Incident No 98996189 <br /> SJCEHD Site Code 1223 <br /> Dear Ms Duncan <br /> Cambria Environmental Technology, Inc (Cambria) prepared this report on behalf of Equilon <br /> Enterprises LLC dba Shell Oil Products US (Shell) in accordance with the quarterly reporting <br /> requirements of 23 CCR 2652d <br /> FOURTH QUARTER 2003 ACTIVITIES <br /> Cambria submitted a Site Conceptual ModellSite Investigation Work Plan on October 3, 2003 <br /> In the work plan we proposed installing one shallow offsite monitoring well (MW-12) and one <br /> deep onsite monitoring well (MW-13) and recommended conducting a dual-phase extraction <br /> (DPE) test in the former tank excavation <br /> Blaine Tech Services, Inc (Blaine)of San Jose, California gauged and sampled the site wells and <br /> prepared a summary table of field gauging data and petroleum hydrocarbon and methyl tertiary <br /> butyl ether (MTBE) concentrations Cambria prepared a summary table of groundwater <br /> analytical data for fuel oxygenates and lead scavengers (Table 1), a site vicinity/well survey neap <br /> (Figure 1), and a groundwater contour/chemical concentration map (Figure 2) Blaine's report, <br /> presenting the laboratory report, is included as Appendix A The laboratory noted that the total <br /> o a k I a n d CA petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline (TPHg) reported for wells MW-6 and MW-8 through <br /> San Ramon, CA MW-11 do not match the laboratory's gasoline standard As noted previously, this is due to the <br /> Sonoma CA presence of tetrachloroethene(PCE) in these wells <br /> Cambria <br /> Environmental Cambria received San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department's (SJCEHD's) <br /> Technology,Inc December 23, 2003 letter, which approved Cambria's proposed revised quarterly groundwater <br /> is Perkins street monitoring and sampling program All site wells (MW-1 through MW-1 I and VEW-2) will be <br /> PO Boz 259 <br /> Sonoma CA 95476 <br /> Tel(707)935-4850 <br /> Fax(707)935-6649 <br />
