The pure P g <br /> provide health and safety precautions for the initial and subsequent site visits until the <br /> nature and magnitude of the contaminants have been defined. <br /> t <br /> Personnel Responsibilities <br /> All personnel assigned or involved with the remedial investigation or site clean- <br /> ups wilt have an assigned responsibility. The outlined responsibilities will <br /> establish standards for personnel protective wear, safety procedures and provide <br /> for emergency actions which could arise during project operations. <br /> 1.2 Project Manager MR) <br /> The Project Manager directs all prcj::ct operations. Project Manager (PM), in <br /> cooperation with the Project Safety Officer(PSO), has the primary <br /> responsibility for ensuring that the safety plan is read, signed, and fully <br /> understood by all employees and outside persons allowed around or within <br /> designated working perimeters of the job site. <br /> In cooperation with the PSO, he is responsible for ensuring that at all times <br /> during project operations, all employees adhere strictly to the Health and Safety <br /> Plan. <br /> r <br /> 1,3 Project Safety officer(PSO) <br /> The PSO shall direct and ensure that all employecs comply witlr the Health and <br /> Safety Pian. 'rile PSO has the primary responsibility for: <br /> 1. Assuring that appropriate personnel protective equipment is available and <br /> properly utilized by all on-site personnel. <br />
