.5a MR- <br /> P <br /> KLEINFELDER <br /> 3.5 MONITORING WELL ELEVATION SURVEY , <br /> On March 16, 1990, the three monitoring NYells were surveyed to establish a relative <br /> elevation of each well. No established benchmark was located near the site. To minimize <br /> costs a cement pad located northwest of the building (Plate 3) was usej as the local <br /> benchmark, and an arbitrary elevation of 100 feet was set for the pad. This arbitrary <br /> selection is not material to measuring the direction and gradient of ground water flow as <br /> the calculations are based on relative comparisons of each well elevation.
