have been in place for a given number of years. Furthermore, when my son used
the easement to access the back of the property, something that he has done for 40
years, one of the Veterans threw rocks at him. Perhaps this is the same Veteran
who attacked me with his cane after one of the Planning Commission meetings. I
have not filed charges yet because I have not learned the name of the person. This
attack was reported to the Stockton Police. I am still planning to follow up on this.
I definitely feel threatened by the hostility directed to my family by members of the
VFW. I have even been "given the finger" by one of the members as I was exiting
my driveway. I certainly do not deserve this treatment while I am going about my
life.
WE ARE NOT HAPPY. This is not working out, promises are not being kept and
we have been reviled as not being patriotic, and on and on. We respect what the
Veterans stand for and the fact that they protected our country. We are truly
disappointed that this particular group of Veterans is a poor examples of what we
would expect to be our finest citizens
I would assume that you still have some responsibility to make sure that these
abuses are addressed.
Sincerely, p
Janet Spyskma-Pilchard
Cc: Leroy Ornellas, Supervisor
Steve Gutierrez, Supervisor
Dario L.
