After the wells are constructed and developed, the wells will be <br /> surveyed for elevation and located by taping from known landmarks. <br />' The elevation of the top of the well casings will be compared to the <br /> same elevation base used by the previous consultant. <br />' The wells will be sampled using a pre-cleaned Teflon bailer. Water <br /> samples will be placed in containers provided by the laboratory After <br /> a sample is collected, it will be labeled. The label will contain a <br />' unique sample number, the project name and location, the date and <br /> time, and the samplers initials. The sample bottles will then be <br /> placed in Zip-Lock type plastic bags, then sealed and placed on ice in <br />' a cooler. The samples will be ether shipped or delivered to the <br /> laboratory under chain-of-custody. <br /> During the sampling event, the pre-existing monitoring wells will be <br />' purged , then sampled The same sampling procedures will be <br /> followed. <br /> Sample Analysis <br />' A total of eight soil samples, and six water samples will be analyzed <br /> for: <br /> • <br /> Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons as Gasoline - EPA Method 8015-M <br />' Benzene, Toluene, Ethylbenzenes, and Xylenes - EPA Method 8020 <br /> • Organic lead <br /> I <br /> 1 <br /> 2-3 <br /> 1 <br />
