SECTION 1 <br /> 1 INTRODUCTION <br /> 1 <br />' This document is a work plan for additional soil and round water <br /> P g <br /> investigation of Former Underground Storage Tank (UST) Site #2 <br /> 1 located at 1325 West Weber Avenue, Stockton, California (San Joaquin <br /> County) (Figure 1) The UST was situated adjacent to an active <br /> warehousing facility at 1325 West Weber Avenue and was removed in <br /> 1 1991 The facility is currently occupied by Graphic Contractors <br /> The purpose of this investigation is to determine the lateral extent of <br /> 1 petroleum hydrocarbons (Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons as Gasoline <br /> (TPH-G) and Diesel (TPH-D)), and related constituents (Benzene, <br /> 1 Toluene, Ethyl benzene and Xylene (BTEX)) in the soil and ground <br /> water to the north and east of the tank excavation ERM-West, Inc <br /> (ERM) conducted an investigation of the site in 1992 and found <br /> elevated levels of these constituents in soil and ground water at MW- <br /> 1A (north of the UST excavation) and in soil at MW-3A (east of the <br /> UST excavation) (Figure 1) Further investigative work is required to <br />' (1) delineate the lateral extent of these petroleum compounds to the <br /> north and east, and (2) evaluate potential remedial alternatives, if <br /> required <br />' The results of this work will be incorporated in to a Problem <br /> Assessment Report (PAR) that will be developed for the site in May <br />' 1993 The PAR will be the basis for evaluating remedial alternatives, if <br /> required <br />' Section 2 describes the details of the investigation activities Section 3 <br /> outlines the reporting of the project activities and results Section 4 <br /> contains the health and safety plan for the investigation <br /> 1 <br /> 1 <br /> 1 <br />' 1-1 <br />
