PART 3 <br /> GOVERNMENT FURNISHED PROPERTY,EQUIPMENT,AND SERVICES <br /> 3. GOVERNMENT FURNISHED ITEMS AND SERVICES: <br /> 3.1.Services: <br /> The Government will provide professional field staff(geologist,engineer,and/or sampling technician)to perform <br /> lithologic logging of bore hole,direction on groundwater grab sampling interval and well screen installation interval, <br /> and general Contractor oversight to ensure conformance to contract requirements. The Government will also assist <br /> the Contractor as necessary in providing information to complete the boring/well installation permit and completion <br /> forms required by the State.The Government will provide analytical test results to the Contractor and administrative <br /> support for any hazardous waste or non-hazardous waste manifests(should they be required)in order to properly <br /> dispose of project investigation-derived waste(IDW). <br /> 3.2 Facilities: <br /> The Government will provide a fenced,gated and locked lay-down area to secure equipment and materials utilized <br /> by the Contractor for performance of work under this contract. This area will be within one mile of the boring/well <br /> installation sites. This area will be at the McCormick and Baxter Superfund Site in Stockton,California. <br /> 3.3 Utilities: <br /> No utilities will be provided by the Government. <br /> 3.4 Equipment: <br /> No equipment will be provided by the Government. <br /> 3.5 Materials: <br /> The Government will provide appropriate sample bottles for the collection of groundwater grab samples from the <br /> drilled borings,and field staff to fill sample bottles. No other materials will be provided by the Government. <br />
