Cherokee Rd., Stockton Program: HW <br /> SUMMARY F <br /> CLASS I,CLASS II, MINOR-Notice to Com I <br /> This is a report of the Routine hazardous waste inspection conducted at the referenced facility by San <br /> Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD). The following are Minor Violations - Notice to <br /> Comply: 7,82,83,84 <br /> 7. Observed one 5-gallon container of waste paint <br /> -- Generator shall make hazardous waste determination of the waste and managing the waste <br /> accordingly. <br /> * Immediately make a hazardous waste determination of the above wastes and manage each <br /> accordingly, or dispose of the waste as hazardous waste in accordance to California Code of <br /> Regulations (CCR) Title 22. Submit a statement and supporting documentation explaining how this <br /> waste was managed by July 15, 2011. <br /> 82,83,84. Observed one waste CRT in the yard not in a container. <br /> -- Universal Wastes CRT shall be stored in a closed container that prevents breakage and release to <br /> the environment. The container shall be labeled to identify the type of Universal Waste and marked the <br /> initial date of accumulation. Universal Waste shall be managed within one year of storage and retained <br /> on site a copy of the disposal receipt for at least 3 years. <br /> * Immediately dispose of the above Universal Waste - lamps and submit a copy of the disposal receipt <br /> to EHD by July 15, 2011. A pamphlet for the Small Hazardous Waste Disposal Facility has been <br /> supplied to the generator during this inspection. <br /> NOTES (The following are not violations)30,52 <br /> The facility generated no hazardous waste in 2010 since it had opened for business on March 1, 2011. <br /> Facility generates hazardous wastes from auto repair operations. <br /> 20. Observed one 20-gallon container of waste gasoline in the used oil area with no hazardous waste <br /> label. All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: <br /> 1. the words "Hazardous Waste" <br /> 2. name and address of generator <br /> 3. hazardous properties <br /> 4. physical state <br /> 5. composition (contents) <br /> 6. accumulation start date <br /> Discrepancy corrected on site.
