Used oil filters must be stored in a <br /> closed, rainproof container, labeled as "drained used oil filters," and marked with an accumulation start <br /> date. Immediately and ensure that all used oil filters are managed in this way. Discrepancy corrected <br /> on site. Generator stated accumulation start date was when they first opened. <br /> 30. One 55-gallon empty motor oil container had label. Containers larger than five gallons that <br /> previously held a hazardous material shall be marked with the date they were emptied and managed <br /> within one year of being emptied. Discrepancy corrected on site. <br /> 52. An emergency coordinator and modified contingency plan information is lacking. There must be at <br /> least one emergency coordinator on site or on call to coordinate emergency response measures, and <br /> the following information must be posted by a phone: the name and phone number of the emergency <br /> coordinator; location of fire extinguishers, spill control equipment, and if present, fire alarm; and the <br /> phone number of the fire department, unless the facility has a direct alarm. Immediately appoint an <br /> emergency coordinator and post the required information by a phone. A form is provided that can be <br /> used for this purpose. Discrepancy corrected on site. <br /> Informed generator Universal Wastes include aerosol cans, lamps, alkaline batteries, mercury containing <br /> switches, CRT, electronic devices, etc. in a closed container with a label identifying the content and the <br /> start date of accumulation and managed within 1 year of accumulation, disposal records maintained on <br /> site for at least 3 years.
