(Apex) has been authorized by Moore Petroleum (Moore)-to <br /> provide this letter responding to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health . <br /> Department (SJCEHD) dated March 23; 2007 (Appendix A) requesting clarification of <br /> the definition letter for total petroleum hydrocarbons motor oil (TPHmo) at,the subject <br /> site(Figures l.and 2.). . <br /> This letter is based, in part, on information obtained by Apex from Moore, and is subject <br /> to modification as newly-acquired information may warrant. <br /> WEED OIL <br /> After a recent conversation with Mr. Jerry Moore.(Moore Petroleum), Apex became- <br /> aware of several'former above ground storage tanks that contained weed oil supplied by <br /> Delta Supply. These storage tanks were owned, maintained and operated by Union. <br /> Pacific Railroad (UPR )on an old bulk facility, former railroad property,currently owned <br /> by Moore. The former property line between Moore Petroleum and UPR ran adjacent to <br /> the northeastern side of the building currently onsite. The tanks were removed <br /> approximately 20-years ago and onsite for approximately.30 years prior to that (1950 to . <br /> 1980).
