Manifest numbers 005744510JJK (4/20/09), 005744634JJK (6/24/09), 005745835JJK (11/17/10), <br /> and 008406704JJK (8/4/11) were sent under an incorrect EPA ID number. The EPA ID number <br /> CAL000112632 was used for these manifests, which is registered to Bear Valley Alpine Ski Company. <br /> A generator who transports, or offers for transportation, hazardous waste, shall prepare a manifest in <br /> accordance with Title 22 regulations, including the generator's correct EPA ID number and the correct <br /> address information. Immediately make all necessary corrections and notifications with DTSC to ensure <br /> that all wastes are properly identified under the correct EPA ID number. Submit a copy of the <br /> notification made to DTSC, to the EHD by May 4, 2012. Ensure that all future hazardous waste is <br /> handled under the correct EPA ID number. <br /> 126. The parts washer disposal records list an incorrect EPA ID number. The EPA ID number <br /> CAL000037610 was used for these manifests, which is registered to Union Ice Company at the facility's <br /> address, and has been inactive since 1995. All copies of receipts from consolidated manifesting shall <br /> contain the correct information for the generator. Ensure that all future hazardous waste is handled <br /> under the correct EPA ID number. <br /> 127. Copies of spent lead acid battery disposal records were not found on site. The generator shall <br /> retain on site for at least three years a legible copy of each manifest or bill of lading which identifies <br /> spent lead acid batteries shipped to a person who stores, uses, reuses, recycles, or reclaims the <br /> batteries or their components. Immediately locate a copy of all disposal records for spent lead acid <br /> batteries for the last three years, maintain them on site, and submit copies to the EHD by May 4, 2012. <br /> 405. According to Mr. Lopez, the containers hazardous waste drums are being inspected monthly. The <br /> owner or operator shall inspect areas used for container storage or transfer, at least weekly, looking for <br /> leaking containers and for deterioration of containers and the containment system caused by corrosion <br /> and other factors. Immediately begin conducting the necessary weekly inspections for all hazardous <br /> waste containers at this facility. <br /> 809. Facility was unable to demonstrate the amount of time used fluorescent bulbs were stored on site. <br /> A generator of universal waste (batteries, mercury containing equipment, lamps/bulbs, electronic <br /> devices, CRTs, CRT glass, aerosol cans) shall accumulate universal waste for no longer than one year <br /> from the date the waste was generated.
