0963c*-7 <br /> • 11.0 PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES <br /> • Eating, drinking, and smoking are prohibited on site except <br /> in areas to be designated by the Site Safety Officer. <br /> • Individuals with facial hair that interferes with proper fit <br /> of respirators shall not be permitted to enter areas where <br /> respiratory use may be required. <br /> • Individuals requiring vision correcting lenses are prohibited <br /> from wearing contact lenses on site; eye glasses are <br /> permitted. <br /> 12.0 PROJECT SAFETY PERSONNEL <br /> Personnel responsible for project safety are the project Safety <br /> officer, the Project Manager, and the Site Safety officer. <br /> The Project Safety Officer is responsible for delivering the plan and <br /> any addenda to Project Manager and for advising the Project Manager <br /> and Site Safety Officer on health and safety matters. He has the <br /> authority to audit compliance with the provisions of this plan, <br /> suspend work or modify work practices for safety reasons, and to <br /> dismiss individuals whose conduct on-site endangers the health and <br /> safety of others. <br /> The Project Manager is responsible for distributing this plan to all <br /> WCC field personnel and to an authorized representative of each firm <br /> contracted to assist with on-site work. The Project Manager is also <br /> responsible for ensuring that the provisions of this plan and its <br /> addenda are carried out. This includes ensuring that all WCC field <br /> personnel have met WCC's medical examination requirements, that all <br /> field personnel have received adequate training, that an adequate <br /> supply of safety equipment is available, and that the required safety <br />
