Dear Mr. Rowe and Ms. Lagorio: In accordance with the San Joaquin County Public Health Services Environmental Health Division (PHSFEHD) request,enclosed is a June 1998 addendum to the April 1997 workplan for the Disco property, as well as a proposed schedule for completing the activities in the workplan and addendum. Il It is our understanding,based upon a discussion between Ms.Lagorio and Liz Dodge last week, that the PHS/EHD will be willing to meet with us to discuss the proposed scope of work and schedule after PHS/EHD's review of the proposed.addendum. Background The original workplan was submitted to the PHS/EHD on April 15, 1997 in response to the PHS/EHD''s April'1,-1997 letter request.The workplan was based on activities requested in the , PHS/EHD's letter and follow-up telephone discussions between the PHSIEHD and Richard Fish/Del Monte and Bem Baumgartner/CH2M HILL. Comments on the 1997workplan were received from PHS/EHD in a letter dated October 14, 1997:That letter requested the following items: I • A series of comprehensive hydrogeologic cross sections. • A.workplan addendum for completing the soil and groundwater investigation • A report on the soil and groundwater investigation' . • A corrective action plan In a conference call with PHS/EHD on October 29, 1997,PHS/EHD agreed to a schedule for completing these items providing for the cross sections to be submitted on January,19, 1998 to allow 98WPLETTEO.DeC
