KLEINFELDER and covered with at least 40 millimeter visqueen sheeting. A composite soil sample will be collected from the stockpile to characterize the soil for disposal. Additionally, purge water generated from the quarterly groundwater monitoring activities at the site is stored on the Disco site in 55-gallon drums.' Groundwater sample analysis from a number of the monitoring wells have shown non-detectable results of the constituents for which they are analyzed. - In general, the groundwater samples.were analyzed for total petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline, benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, and xylene, methyl tert-butyl ether, tert-amylmethyl ether, di-isopropyl ether, ethyl tert-butyl ether, tert-butyl alcohol, 1,2-dibromoethane, and 1,2- dichloroethane. Monitoring wells MW-4, MW-7s, MW-7d, MW-9, MW-11d, MW-12 (2/21/02 through 5113/02, and 3/4/03 only), MW-13, and MW-14d, have been shown to have non- detectable concentrations of the previously listed analytes. Documentation of. the past groundwater monitoring results are attached as found in the quarterly groundwater monitoring reports in the attached table. At this time Kleinfelder on Del Monte's behalf and approval would like to formally inform EHD for the dispensing of the purge water collected from monitoring wells MW-4, MW-7s, MW.-7d, MW-9, MW-I Id, MW-12 (2121102 through 5/13/02, and 3/4/03 only), MW-13, and MW-14d to the ground surface at the Disco Site, as was discussed over the telephone.
