File No. 20-3374-01 i ^ I-EILL1)ER
July 26, 1990
groundwater depths due to topography, as shown on Plate II.
Based on County requirements for small single parcel
splits, we are not required to establish an on-site
groundwater gradient by drilling test borings. We are
providing a general estimate of the groundwater gradient
based on the published maps. Based on the groundwater map
showing lines of equal elevation of groundwater, Plate III,
we conclude that the main groundwater gradient is in
roughly the north to northeast direction. We note that
south of the Mokelumne River the groundwater gradient is
in the southern direction.
This completes our scope of work at this time. Based on the above
information, it is our opinion that the sites are suitable for
septic system use. However, continuous monitoring of the septic
systems should be maintained throughout the duration of the use of
the septic systems. Once this report is reviewed by the local
health district, we would be pleased to furnish whatever additional
information the County may require for their evaluation.
5
