k" KLEINFELDER
File No. 20-2949-13
November 25, 1990
clean water on November 19, 1990 and were left to soak
overnight.
On October 20, 1990, our representative returned to the
site to perform the 3-foot deep percolation tests. As
per San Joaquin County guidelines, the tests were
performed for periods of 4 hours. The last 30 minutes
of each test were used to calculate the percolation
rates. In order to use standard leach lines, the County
requires a percolation rate of 60 minutes per inch, or
faster, at the 3-foot depth. The 3-foot deep tests
performed passed with percolation rates of 12 and 40
minutes per inch for parcels 1 and 2 , respectively. The
county approved percolation test sheet is included with
this report.
ITEM C-3•
"The depth and gradient of the groundwater table. "
During our residence surveys on November 16, 1990, we
attempted to measure groundwater in 3 wells (locations
2 and 3 on Plate A-1) . The groundwater level was below
150 feet deep, which was the length of our well sounding
equipment. Regional groundwater maps published by the
San Joaquin County Flood Control and Water Conservation
District, Plate A-2 , indicate the depth to groundwater
in this area was greater than 150 feet in the fall of
1989 .
Based on County requirements for parcel split projects,
we are not required to establish an on-site groundwater
Copyright 1990 Kleinfelder, Inc. 3
