31604.DSK <br /> WP-SFO <br /> SECTION 13002 <br /> SPARGING SYSTEM { <br /> PART GENERAL <br /> 1.1 WORK INCLUDED <br /> A. This section covers the work necessary to design, furnish, install, and test <br /> one groundwater sparging system. The system shall include, but not be <br /> limited to, a sparging blower, a motor, a control panel with a timer, and <br /> associated meters, valves, and gauges. <br /> B. The system shall be assembled in the plant and brought to the site as a <br /> skid-mounted unit to be placed in the approximate location shown on the <br /> Drawings. <br /> 1.2 GENERAL <br /> A. See Section 01300, SUBMITTALS. <br /> B. Include all costs associated with delivering the unit to the site, anchoring <br /> unit to the concrete pad, mechanical and electrical connections, functional <br /> testing, and any other work associated with complete installation of the <br /> sparging unit. <br /> 1.3 SUBMITTALS i <br /> A. The following information shall be submitted for review prior to fabrication <br /> of the equipment. <br /> 1. Manufacturer's name and model number for all equipment. <br /> 2. Linear dimensions of the system. <br /> 3. Operating curve for the blower. <br /> 4. Location and description of all temperature, flow, and pressure <br /> monitoring equipment. <br /> 5. Location and description of all valves, filters, and silencers. <br /> 6. Drawing and functional description of the control panel. <br /> 7. Detail showing how the equipment will be anchored to the concrete <br /> pad. <br /> 1.4 MAINTENANCE MANUAL <br /> A. Prior to equipment delivery, a maintenance manual for the sparging system <br /> must be supplied to the Engineer. <br /> 1.5 SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> A. The scope of services shall include, but not be limited to: <br /> 1. Final design of the sparging system. <br /> 2.
