Within 24 hours after completion, each well was further developed by <br /> groundwater extraction. Approximately 250 gallons of groundwater were pumped from <br /> each well using a 2-inch-diameter Grundfos submersible pump. Each well was pumped <br /> at the maximum sustainable rate, typically 5 gallons per minute. The pH, electrical, <br /> conductivity, temperature, turbidity, and volume of water extracted were measured and <br /> 1 recorded at intervals during development. Development was completed when the <br /> turbidity was below approximately 10 NTU, or the bottom of a 5-gallon bucket was <br /> readily visible when filled with development water. <br /> Each well was surveyed relative to the National Geodetic Vertical Datum (NGVD) by <br /> Kjeidsen-Sinnock & Associates (Appendix B). <br /> s <br /> SF0316041RP1003.51 2-5 <br /> fI <br /> I <br />
