In addition,,MW3 groundwater sample results:
for TPH-d have increased since January 1998. At the meeting in January
2000 it was discussed that a mass balance calculation, ai fate and
{ transport evaluation of the remaining contamination, and two additional
rounds of water sample collection and analysis may provide justification
for a"no further, action required" determination for this site. PHS/EHD
discussed this site briefly with Central Valley Regional Water Quality
Control Board (CVRWQCB) staff. A pump test was performed in July
1999 and water samples were collected, a report of this work has not
been submitted. This information must be submitted to PHSIEHD and the
CVRWQCB to better evaluate this site; In addition, water samples have
not been collected and analyzed since January 1999. Quarterly sampling
and analysis of water from all the monitoring wells should be initiated
immediately. The stability of the contaminated groundwater plume will be
evaluated with this information and the need for further work will be
determined. .
i 3
i A.Division;of$anjoaquin 1county Health Czre Services'
l
5!:
