The purpose of the meeting was to evaluate progress and to
establish schedules for future work at the above noted sites. >
Letitia Briggs and Doug Wilson briefly discussed 1116 E. First Street(Fire Station #3). The lab results were
not submitted until Letitia contacted the laboratory directly. As the laboratory results have since been
submitted the site will be evaluated for closure.
Stephen Chen and Doug Wilson will schedule a meeting to discuss City of Stockton sites to determine status
for compliance.
PHS/EHD recommends the submittal of a cleanup fund application to the State Water Resources Control
Board for all City of Stockton sites that may be eligible. PHS/EHD was in error when stating that a site needs
only an unauthorized release form to be eligible. The site must have documentation of an actual release (Le.
laboratory results) from a tank.
Fontana Drive at Smith Canal
• As the most recent phase of field work has adequately defined the full extent of the soil and
groundwater contamination,a Corrective Action Plan (CAP)will be submitted by March 28,
1994. The CAP will propose an aggressive over-excavation to remove the contamination.
The soil will be stockpiled and treated on-site just north of the former tank pit area.
110 West Sonora
• The additional vapor extraction testing has been completed. A Corrective Action Plan is
currently being compiled and should be submitted before the next scheduled meeting.
A Division of tion Joaquin County Hmith Cure Services
