A closure plan should be ` <br /> submitted to PHS/EHD Unit III and the piping closed in place by March 15, 1994. <br /> ' The report discussing the last phase of the investigation is currently being compiled by <br /> RESNA and will be submitted by March 1, 1994. The report will give an estimate of the <br /> residual hydrocarbons remaining beneath the building. <br /> • The last groundwater sampling occurred on September 6, 1993. The sampling frequency is I <br /> semi-annual for this site. The sampling of the monitoring well will also be addressed in the <br /> report. <br /> Argonne and Picardy <br /> The City of Stockton has issued a purchase order for the proposed over-excavation of the <br /> former tank pit. The workplan proposes an additional 5'of soil to be removed and at least <br /> four sidewall samples and one bottom soil sample to be collected to confirm hydrocarbon <br /> removal. The new contractor,Falcon Energy,needs to submit a site specific health and safety <br /> pian before the work can be scheduled.
