Areas targeted for excavation will be watered down prior to initiation of excavation
activities and throughout the project. This dust suppression measure will be necessary to insure that
air quality is not adversely impacted. The SJVUAPCD requirements will be met for monitoring and/or
controlling fugitive dust during remediation. If targeted excavation areas exceed the fugitive dust
emissions established by the SJVUAPCD, then work will be temporarily suspended until such time
that the fugitive dust emissions are below the requirements administered by the SJVUAPCD. The
design and soils management plan will identify specific permits that may be required by the Air
Quality Management District and will be obtained prior to implementing the plan. the soils
Ref: Insite Environmental:Administrative Draft, Draft Supplemental Environmental Impact Report,
Mudville 9 Ballpark, Downtown Stockton, California, November 8, 1999
Findings:
Potentially
Potentially Significant Less Than
Significant Unless Significant No
Impact Mitigated Impact Impact
X
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
7
