Site Code: 2098 <br /> 404 West Fremont Street <br /> Stockton , CA 95203 <br /> The above subject site is a contaminated underground storage tank (UST) site assigned to <br /> the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department's (EHD) Local Oversight Program <br /> for oversight of assessment and clean up activities . Investigation and remediation of the <br /> petroleum hydrocarbon contamination at this site began in October 1986 and continued until <br /> February 2004 . <br /> At the request of the City of Stockton due to pending construction and redevelopment of this <br /> property, all groundwater monitoring and remediation wells were destroyed in March 2004. <br /> The destruction was performed under EHD permit and inspection. The approval for the <br /> destruction was on condition that the groundwater monitoring wells were to be reinstalled <br /> within six months of their destruction. <br /> Please proceed with submittal of a work plan to reinstall groundwater monitoring wells at this <br /> site. The work plan is due for submittal to the EHD no later than October 10, 2008. In <br /> addition , all reports of work completed at this site are to be submitted electronically to <br /> Geotracker, the State Water Resources Control Board internet database.
